ZONCOLAN - DOLACIS - CURIEDI - ZUGLIO

THE TRACK

 

The track touches Malga Meleit from where you can admire the vastness and beauty of the plateau of Lauco, the ruins of the village of Dolacis and finally reaches Zuglio which, with its Roman ruins of Julium Carnicum and the sanctity of its Pieve Ma-
smoke, allows an immersion in history.

 

DESCRIPTION

 

The start will take place atop the Zoncolan at the monument of the cyclist, from here you take the asphalt road, which then becomes a dirt road that leads to Malga Tamai. Come here, you continue along the dirt road that winds to the slopes
Monte Arvenis where, upon reaching the maximum elevation, opens the Malga agareit basin.
At the fork, continue along the main track and you reach Malga Meleit, from which you can admire the vast plateau of Lauco.
From Malga Meleit take the road that leads into the Val di Lauco; Chias past the hut below immediately after you
Turn left on the forest road at a time of Dolacis, here you cross a path to the left that the porterta
ruins of Dolacis above, from which worth stopping to see the chapel in ricodo Peter Cimenti (king of Dolacis) with
the faded photo of the small village and its inhabitants.
Continue along the path that winds along the meadows up to Forca di Corce, advances straight to Malga Corce, then Forchie
Navantes where begins the asphalt road. junction with the Fusea Buttea-road, turn left and continue entering
in the plans of Curiedi and past the sports field, immediately turn left to get onto the forest road con-
Duce Cazzaso New; Once you placed in the track, at the first fork, keep right and take the next left.
Continue straight and at the end of the forest you enter the paved road and you go straight up to New Cazzaso. thus proceeding
I always give the right you reach Sezza, the road leads into the village below Zuglio from here and in the midst of history.
